What we do
lmohim explains complicated North African subjects through a single animated graphic the reader drives. One handle, one map or diagram, one line of explanation per stop. You see the shape of a story before deciding to give it ten minutes.
Three languages, one reading
Every subject publishes in French, English and Arabic, right-to-left included. These are not three different versions: it is the same animation, the same timeline and the same figures, in the reader’s language.
How an issue is made
The desk writes a brief: subject, angle, stops, sources, languages. Research and a first build of the animation are produced from that brief. An editor reviews every stop, writes the annotation line in all three languages, and moves the piece through moderation before it publishes. Nothing goes out without human approval.
